Air mattresses now have fuzzy velour on them. The vinyl patches they come with don’t stick to fuzzy! HELP!

I don’t get it, the most punctures happen within the area you are sleeping on. My dog’s toenails keep nailing mine. What good are these stupid patches? All the glue i have tried doesn’t even begin to hold. I’m so broke after christmas, it will be months before I can even think about finding a USED mattress, I now have 4 air mattresses with holes in the fuzzy top layer. Unfixable?

quite the hefty mattress pad on there already…. guess a 130 pound Siberian/Wolf mix can probably shred my concrete if she wanted to bad enough!!!!
And I just can’t resist.. try to tell 130 pounds of fuzzy stubborn muscle you didn’t flop down on the bed so she would come tackle you! LOL you can hose that dog with a firehose 20 times a day for doing the same thing, and she’ll think it’s time to play “catch the water stream”. Cinder Block? My son tried that when he was 6. Protecting a cat or something. Slammed down onto her head from overhead. She came inside and wanted to play fetch… now we call her “cone head” because she has one!
