Pui Yi H asked: I just bought a couple of natural color rocking chairs. They look like they’ve been stained and not sealed with some protective treatment. What’s the best product to use to protect my rockers from fading in the sun, the rain, and general cracking due to possible weather damaging?

suzyqgreen asked: I recently bought patio furniture with outdoor safe cushions. But the cushions are already being pecked to pieces by the birds in my backyard! They have made several holes in the new cushions and it’s clear that it’s the stuffing they are after. Does anyone know how I can keep this from happening?

Annie D asked: I have purchased a new set of furniture and while they were refinishing my bathtub there is now spray paint all over the surface and on the sides of my furniture. It looks like my furniture now has dusty look. How can I remove this spray paint without damaging the varnish and also my furniture? Very sad in Texas

Amy B asked: I’m a 20 year old girl (I like modern and bohemian themed rooms) that is opting to switch my new oversized bedroom furniture with older furniture (that actually fits in my room) from my guest bedroom…The only problem is that the furniture is this hideous 80’s style oak furniture with lots of curlicues, cheesy faux-marble (i think its plastic) and frost mirror finishing. I’m thinking of refinishing it with my Dad, but I don’t have a lot of experience..(he’s decent with power tools). Any ideas to refinish/remodel it ..and overall change it? Or should I just give up now, and keep the oversized new furniture?
