what kind of sealant do you use on latex painted furniture?
Alisha asked:
I refinished several pieces of furniture, but Im worried about it getting scratched and causing it to peel. I sanded, used primer and two coats of high quality latex paint. Just wondering if there is anything to keep it from getting to scratched or peeling

I use Varathane and have used it on a lot of painted as well as stained furniture I have refinished. I like it because it is non-yellowing, has both UVB/UVA protection, seals well, is easy to use, dries quickly and comes in either spray on or brush on application. It really performs well particularly on high use areas of furniture, like arm rests and can take the beating with the vacuum cleaner my housekeeper gives the feet of my furniture!

MinWax Polycrylic.
Non yellowing and waterbase.
Or Adicolor’s DFV Varnish, again non yellowing and waterbase.
