casatranio asked: I recently inherited a number of books, framed photos and pictures, and some antique furniture–all of which were stored in a basement for a number of years. All of it smells very musty, and spraying with odor neutralizer does absolutely nothing to remove the odor. Once the neutralizer scent wears off,the musty smell returns. Is there any way to eliminate it?

Man101 asked: I am building a new home and want to make smart Green choices. I would love to go all the way but some green products are pricy! I am a first time home buyer and have a limited budget. We upgraded to double paned windows and more insulation. I can’t make anymore construction upgrades because it has been started but it is time to pick out furniture/appliances/flooring. What are good choices to make? What is the most imapctful??

Rebelde33 asked: I just got a new room and the walls are white and it looks bland. I plan on painting at least 2 walls lime green but I can’t decide which ones. Also about how much does a can of paint cost? What should I hang on the walls? And furniture? Any suggestions are appreciated.

I’m just trying to find some quality tables that would last me, with kids and everyone spilling on the kitchen table all the time– I’d like to at least have it stain-free or some of the sort. constancecan asked: The big box home stores have only old-fashioned styles, and the custom vanities are way expensive. I looked at IKEA, but their bathroom furniture is sized differently (smaller) than my current vanity, which is 3 feet wide, not 2 1/2 feet. I am trying to replace it with a modern look at a pre-manufactured price. Help!

secreticicle asked: Our landlord agreed with the agent that she would remove certain items of furniture before we moved in. Once we moved in, the furniture was still there and now she says she can’t afford the storage and it is antique furniture.
I didn’t pay a monthly rent to tiptoe around her antiques and I don’t want them in the flat - legally where do I stand?
